All of our Special Ice wedding and special occasion cakes are freshly baked by us in our kitchen and are available in a delicious variety of flavours. Sarah and Sheila Hitchon use the best quality ingredients and if you can't make up your mind from our selection below we can make each tier a different flavour!

Vanilla Sponge
A sensationally moist sponge which normally comes as two layers sandwiched together with delicious vanilla butter cream.  Jam of any flavour can be added too.  Vanilla sponge cake is a firm favourite with guests of all ages.  You can’t go wrong with vanilla!

 Lemon Sponge
A light, moist sponge full of fresh lemon which makes it refreshingly tangy.  We sandwich together two layers with lemon curd and lemon butter cream to create a flavoursome finale to any meal.

 Chocolate Cake
Richly flavoured chocolate cake with a seriously chocolaty flavour rather than a lighter sponge.  Chocolate ganache butter cream filling adds significantly to this cake.

 Coffee Cake
This moist cake has a delicate coffee flavour which becomes more distinctive when layered with coffee butter cream.  It is perhaps a more unusual option, but for coffee lovers a possibility?

 Traditional Fruit Cake
In our opinion, the best and most traditional wedding cake option.  Moist with a hint of spice and a generous amount of brandy (or liquor of your choice) the fruit cake is made using our very own time honoured recipe.  The inclusion or exclusion of any of the ingredients may be adjusted to your liking.  It is usual to cover this classic cake in marzipan although this is optional.

 Carrot Cake
A modern twist on the fruit cake.  With its unusual list of ingredients, especially the zingy lemon and orange, it must be tried!  Mouth watering and different it has become very popular.
